Glenlyon Norfolk School students are fortunate to attend school on two historic campuses located in two beautiful neighbourhoods of Victoria, BC. At GNS, we believe that there is no single mould for students or predetermined idea of a graduate. Established in 1913, Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is a co-ed independent, not-for-profit, International Baccalaureate day and boarding school.
Every student at GNS is an IB learner. Every teacher at GNS is an IB educator.

We focus on child-centred learning that emphasizes strong academics balanced with co-curricular enrichment and authentic opportunities for service learning.
Building on a foundation of over 25 years of training and experience, our teachers have made a strong commitment to delivering the IB curricula as they believe it equips our students with the higher-level skills of inquiry, analysis and innovation, which will help them have a positive affect on the world around them.
We pride ourselves on delivering programs that teach students how to learn, not just what to learn. Over time, our students develop a deeper understanding of their own learning styles and how to define, and achieve, their own version of success. They also become critical and creative thinkers who can apply the knowledge and skills they have developed to real-world situations.
