The Aranui High School Curriculum offers a wide number of subjects to suit students' strengths and interests.
All students from Year 9 to Year 11 must do a Core Curriculum of English, Maths, Science, Social Studies and Physical Education.
Students at Year 12 must do English.
Students at Year 13 have an open subject choice but most subjects have prerequisites.
Our goal is to help students achieve academic success and to reach their personal goals during their study abroad programme while making friends, building self confidence and enjoying all that New Zealand and Aranui High School has to offer.
At Aranui High School, international students will study ESOL for a period of 4, 8 or 12 hours a week, depending on language level course requirements and personal reasons. Students will also, with the help of the International Department Staff, choose a selection of core and option subjects from learning areas such as math, science, computing, technology, language, sport, social science, finance and the arts.
