Other Information: Blue Mountains Hotel School (BMHS) is one of the most successful and famous school for hotel management, hospitality, tourism and any related subjects. The main campus of the school is located in Crows Nest of Australia. Students are required to study and work in industry placement for minimum 800 hours per academic year. Students have wide range of options like Certificate (1 year) / Diploma (2 year) in Hospitality / Tourism. Bechelor of Commerece in Hospitality and Tourism Management and etc.. Tuition varies between AUD$17,404 - 23,503 / year including accommodation.
Switzerland is one of the most famous place for Tourism Studies. BMHS is in conjunction with the Academy Lake Constance in Romanshorn, Switzerland to offer 3 programs: Swiss Certificate in Hotel & Tourism Operations, Swiss High Diploma in Hotel & Tourism Management and BBA in Hotel & Tourism Management. Intdustrial Training and Internship Programs are also offered to students with a paid monthly salary of about Swiss fancs of 2,000. The Tuition plus Accomodation together would be about CHF 31,500 per academic year.
BMHS has also cooperated with he China Tourism Management Institute (CTMI) to offer a Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality and Tourism Management with internship program in Tianjin, mainland China. In order to maintence the English Language Proficiency of the students, students are required to obtain a minimum score of IELTS 5.0 or equivalent or gain a minimum of 50% in the English Lanugage Entrance Examination conducted by BMHS. During 1st and 2nd year, students will finish their lessons and placement in mainland China. However, stduents will travel to Australia to continue the 3rd year of the program. The total tuition for the program would be about RMB 46,700 per year and for 3rd year, the total cost would be about AUS 40,617.
BMHS is also in conjunction with the Pacific International Hotel Management School in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Students have a wide range of options to choose to study from Diplomas to Degree or Higher level of Education. English Language Courses are also available for maintance the English Language Level.
